Date and Time: 11/25/2017
City: Cambria
State: Pennsylvania
Address: Near Ebensburg Airport

A pilot en route to Ebensburg Airport from Fort Worth, Indiana crashed his two engine plane as he approached the airport. In the plane with the pilot was his wife and two children. The phone he used to call 911 was inactive, so 911 dispatchers were unable to call him back if he disconnected and leaving them unable to get an updated location on the phone. The two 911 calls last about 20 minutes each, and it took emergency services about an hour to locate the crash site in the woods.
