An unidentified man called the Biddeford Police in Cumberland County, Maine twice on July 12th. In the first call the suspect said he had shot his parents and was now barricaded with his girlfriend inside an apartment. In the second call the suspect stated he was armed with explosives. Police from Biddleford and surrounding communities responded to the neighborhood and secured the area. Officers were able to contact the actual occupant of the apartment by phone, who then indicated there was no issue and exited safely.
