NH Legislature Moves 9-1-1 Immunity Bill Forward

New Hampshire is no different than other states across the country in seeing record high deaths from heroin overdoses. The legislature believes that when seconds count during an overdose, bystanders are afraid of calling for help believing they may be criminally charged. They have drafted a bill giving immunity to anyone who calls 9-1-1 to report an overdose, and the bill is now on the Governor’s desk.
