Last week a fire broke out in the property room of the Minneapolis Police Department. The fire was contained to the property room but filled the neighboring communications center with smoke. Minneapolis dispatchers continued to work despite the fire until calls we able to be handled by an alternate center in the city.

Excellent work by the dispatchers on duty continuing to perform their jobs with a fire next door.
