A cut fiber optic line shut down land line 9-1-1 service to residents in Flager County, NJ. Residents were alerted to use their cell phones to call for help during the hours long outage. During the outage calls were reportedly being automatically rerouted to the county center’s business lines. The outage lasted for several hours during the afternoon of May 28th.
